So this is my cat, Apollo.

He was a stray that I found and manage to get him to follow me by scraping a stick along the ground. Anyway long story short, he quickly became my cat.

Now you guys know that my boyfriend is Asian, Taiwanese specifically, and I always joked with that Apollo loves him more than me. Now I’m thinking my cat has a thing for Asian men. See my ex before my current boyfriend was Chinese and Apollo was all over him. (Despite him not liking animals). So when I saw Apollo treat my current boyfriend the same way, the theory was born.

I tested this theory with one of my male friends who was also Chinese and Apollo preferred him over everyone else.

So my boyfriend’s family comes and visits him every summer. That includes his mother, father, sister and brother-in-law. Well this is the first time they will be meeting Apollo. Apollo has already accepted the brother-in-law within the first hour of meeting him.

Therefore my theory is going strong but all of the Asian males he has met so far had been in their 30’s or younger. So I am curious to see if age plays a role with Apollo accepting my boyfriend’s father. Also how he accepts the females in the family.
