I can't decide if I should make Catnomaly be the Anomaly reincarnated as a cat so Sans doesn't know, or the Anomaly always being a cat pretending to be human- and only just now Sans realizing this.
If Anomaly was reincarnated, it would be you figuring out how to be a cat, while trying to actually be a cat to not be suspicious. You can still use your powers, but you'd rather be a normal cat for Sans... unless you need to use your powers to protect him.
If Anomaly was always a cat, I'd imagine they use the Anomaly vessel to try to be a human or something that- isn't a literal animal- to date Sans. He's always been suspicious of you... but figuring out you've been a cat all along is definitely a shock. A cat in a human suit... how is he supposed to even feel?
