notkin selflessly, as the oldest of the dualsouls bunch and appointed leader, giving out all the food he can put his hands on to feed the smallest ones even if it means going to sleep so hungry he can barely crawl off the mattress when he wakes up, and his seconds-in-command (dandy and catnip my my lore #mylore) using dogheads' visits to bribe food out of them as "payment for the meeting with the boss" [which khan accounts for everytime he sends a delegation or goes with them because lowkey he has a hunch] [& which the dogheads don't really know what the real deal is in their minds it is political payment] and notkin doesn't know about it he thinks it's truly payment. but actually it's his buddies (+ his enemy¹ playing into his buddies' deal) making sure he doesn't starve.
