Long story short, an old wattpad bug seems to be returning. I posted a new chapter of The Help Book, but instead of the whole chapter, wattpad displays only a certain amount of it - two pages or a page and 3/4, I think - making the rest invisible. I've contacted wattpad about it and am waiting for their reply. It's Sunday though, so I'll probably have to wait a couple of days for that which means... You are the Answer and Upcoming Projects are most likely not going to be updated this week, because even if I upload the chapters, you probably won't be able to read them. The good news is that my updates for those two books are ready so as soon as the bug is fixed, I'll upload them.

As you've noticed, I'm cutting back on uploads. Why? Because I WILL BE CREATING A BLOG on my birthday (April 19) and I'm currently planning what to include in it so that IT WILL BE USEFUL FOR WRITERS AND MY READERS. Here are some of the things I've come up with so far:

When we talk about using wattpad through a phone, most people think of the app, but there are some options which are still unavailable through it. For example, every other week I get asked “How do you upload a gif file with the app?” and lately, I’ve been asked “How do you dedicate a chapter through the app?”

About the first: you do that the same way you would upload a normal/unmoving picture, but you will not be able to see the file move once uploaded; to the latter: you can’t.

To those of you who don’t own or rarely use a PC: don’t fear! Even though there are things you can’t do with the wattpad app, there is another way you can access wattpad through your phone. Here is how:

The first thing you have to do is open your browser, go to wattpad.com and log in.

Go to your profile.

When you use wattpad through your phone’s browser, there are four subpages (I guess you can call them that) that are on your wall: About, Activity, Works, Lists. They are all written in black, except for the page you are currently on, which is in blue and underlined. By default it will be the About subpage.

Scroll all the way down until you see these two options: “Open in the Wattpad App” and “View Full Site”. I suggest you do that when you are on the About subpage (or Works, or Lists), because you will need to scroll longer if you are on Activity.

Click “View Full Site”. Once you do, you’ll see the same layout that appears on PC with the same options, viewing gif files as moving and being able to dedicate chapters included.

That’s it. Now you can do the same things you would do on your computer. If you don’t know how to use wattpad on the computer though, please refer to the previous chapters of The Help Book; there are too many features and options for me to write them here and that after each option has an already posted chapter about it. Here is a brief table of content of the most useful chapters about how to use wattpad through a PC:

How to make reading lists and add stories to them – Chapter 3;

How to specify the genre for your story, how to add media (photos, gifs and videos), how to add tags, how to add an external link – Chapter 6, Chapter 7, Chapter 24 (Ch. 24 is only about tags)

How to delete a story or a chapter – Chapter 26 (it also says how to do it through the app, not just through a PC)
