Sept 14, 2011-A shirt being designed by Linda Ronstadt and Cathy Patrick is up for bids on the Charity Buzz website, the proceeds go to The Plastic Pollution Coalition.

Bring home a truly one-of-a-kind hand embroidered calico cowboy shirt, made just for you by music icon Linda Ronstadt!
Linda's Inspiration:
"I remember seeing Cathy Patrick in the Troubador bar huddled up to whatever available light source she could find and embroidering designs on shirts she would make to order for the leading music heroes of the day. Cathy's shirts were the must have fashion item of the early seventies Los Angeles music scene and were worn by (Buffalo Springfield, Poco, the Eagles ( mainly Glenn), Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Elton John, JD Souther, Three Dog Night, Jackson and an English band called Uriah Heep.)
Cathy and I have been warm friends since that time and would welcome the opportunity to get together and sew a calico cowboy shirt with satin ribbons appliqued on the yoke and sleeves in the style of that time. This can be made for either a man or a woman."
Terms:
The winner will be able to discuss the size and style with Linda and/or Cathy before the shirt is made. Can be for male or female. Cannot be resold or re-auctioned. Please allow additional time for shipping as this piece will not be made until after the auction close.
