Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Hymns (with Latin Lyrics)
Religious tolerance
I am so sorry to all those people that have to hear me rant but I just don't understand those people that are homophobic and blame it on their christian or catholic religion (coming from a bisexual christian). I'm so sorry but do you not remember the command LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR it means you gay neighbour your neighoubour who is a different religion. In fact why don't you just love everybody becuase God loves you and gave us the gift of loving others so go spread that gift like God would want you to. So in conclusion don't use your religion as an excuse for hating others. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I appologise if this is too serious for my page but we discussed this in my religious studies class and I just didnt think it was right to let such a topic hide in a lecture room,
Today’s Reflection
Jesus today makes a puzzling statement, which many question. Is it is okay to do things through dishonest means? Yet, this is unlikely. For, Jesus knows us well that it is impossible for us to give up everything just to follow him. Therefore, maybe Jesus is saying to us; that possessions are not in themselves sinful, but they are a great responsibility.[1] For we are to share our riches (talents and gifts) with others. Thus, the person who uses their possessions to help their neighbors has certainly gone far to discharge this responsibility. However, Jesus warns: For he knows us too well; that the desire for riches blinds people, allowing them to see themselves as innocent when, in God's eyes, they lack a real concern for others.[2] This is something to keep in mind as we go through life.

there’s something in me that wishes that I could say that Hell is empty and that those who, in life, rejected Christ get one last chance to accept Him. however, if we reject Him in life, we reject Him finally. and part of me wants to say, ‘but not everybody had a chance to accept Him in life!’ however, I feel like it’s less that people don’t have the chance to accept Him, but instead just refuse.
I know too many people who say it would be too hard to be Catholic. they hear me groan about waking up early for Mass every Sunday. they laugh when the learn I’m celibate. they scoff at my voting preferences. one said to me, ‘I’ll believe if Jesus shows up in front of me and tells me that I must.’
in the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, the Rich Man pleads to Abraham to warn his brothers of their eventual fate if they change not their ways. ‘but they have Moses and the prophets,’ replies Abraham, ‘let them hear them.’ and in this day and age, we have more than Moses and the prophets! Christ Himself came, died, and resurrected. we have all the opportunities in the world to hear, to come to terms with our lives, to repent, to turn around.
but if they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they believe if one rises from the dead.
I pray for the conversion of the world.

After reading F.J.Sheed’s, , and finding greater clarity and understanding of difficult Truths and concepts, (e.g. the Trinity, spirit, and the nature of God), I began to read Sheen’s , “A Map of Life”. I also began to search for audios of Sheed’s work. Happily, I discovered a treaure trove of Catholic teachings, at Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice , which offered not only the work of Sheed, as taught…
