blorbo - Xie Lian. So humble and kind. Has committed the most extreme violence. Collects trash for a living. Just Dianxia things.

scrunkly - Lord Windmaster!! Every time Shi Qingxuan appears I'm instantly so happy. I also love that they prefer to present as a woman, but is chill about either form, that's so cool of them.

scrimblo bimblo - I'm not sure who is underrated/underappreciated in this fandom but I actually really liked the village girl who helped out during the Ghost Bridegroom arc in the very beginning. Everyone was so mean to her for no reason.

glup shitto - E-ming!!! Best sword. Lovely scimitar. Possibly the cutest deadly bladed weapon ever?

poor little meow meow - I don't think this is actually an unpopular choice but He Xuan. Poor little glup glup 🐟

horse plinko - Jun Wu. 🔪

least favorite character: Morgana (nothing really against her I just really like everyone else more??)

prettiest character: Gawain

funniest character: Merlin

favorite episode: Actually it was the one where Arthur, Gawain, and Merlin teamed up to get a thing idk I forget what it was it's been a while

favorite romantic ship: One-sided Gawain/Merlin (yes it HAS to be one-sided and on Gawain's part)

favorite family ship: Gwen and Merlin are best sibs

favorite friend ship: Arthur and Merlin (but they're also a little gay)

worst ship: Whoever that one shape-shifting chick was that Merlin kind of had a crush on that was a weird episode and I wasn't buying the ship

(I mean I would do the thing I currently have open, but so far it’s only a prologue, barely half a page, not exactly easy for POV. XD So it’ll have to be my other thing.)

It is necessary. That’s what he will tell himself, from now until he has what he seeks. Adrien should understand what’s at stake, even if he fights it at first. He is a good son. He will obey.

That’s what Gabriel tells himself as Adrien screams, alien blue eyes wide and unfocused as he pulls back, taking the veritable bomb he holds in his hand with him. The mantra rings hollower and hollower the longer Adrien suffers.

It is necessary.

A scream

He’s the one who fell first, taking a blow to the chest before sailing over the edge of the building, gravity dragging him down--he notes with some irony that he fell first, too, in the metaphorical way; before he even realized it, those grey-blue eyes had knocked the breath out of him. Those eyes that go wide, now, as Barnaby follows him over the edge, arm outstretched to catch him.

“What are you doing?!” Kotetsu cries. “You don’t have any power left!”

“You idiot!” Barnaby responds; and isn’t that just like him? “I’m not letting you go! I love you!”

And there goes the breath, right out of Kotetsu’s lungs, all over again.

Through a song

He knows he’s not smooth, but he acts the part, and can’t help but grin when those pretty grey-blue eyes roll at his antics. He watches those lips as Barnaby sips delicately at his drink, his own lips parting close to the mic as he continues to sing in crooning notes for one man and one man alone.

“I...love...you~”

With no space left between us

He’s feeling cold, but the body above him is warm--warm arms, holding him, warm chest pressed against his own, warm tears sprinkling over his face. He looks up into those grey-blue eyes and marvels at how long the eyelashes are that frame them. So pretty. They still take his breath away.

He shudders and Barnaby holds him close, forehead against his own, the gesture desperate, hoping. “You can’t leave me,” Barnaby whispers, “please. You can’t...I love you.”

8. Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

Let’s see...ah! Here’s this bit from my 7 Days to Fall For You Voltron oneshot!

[“I assume we’re going to go in eventually,” Pidge said dryly, “instead of standing out here staring into the window like a couple of creepers.”

Keith glared at his shorter friend. “You’re supposed to be my emotional support.”

“I’m more equipped to provide a mental kick in the pants.”]

I like this for a couple of reasons: One, the voice. I love Pidge’s voice. I can see her in the scene, I could picture her expression as I wrote it. Dialogue requires a clear voice, for me, and I think I did pretty good here! Secondly, just the way it flows. Dialogue tags are annoying pretty much all of the time, but if you don’t include enough context, you kind of lose who’s talking. Granted, this is short, so it’s not that difficult to tell who’s doing what, but I just...I don’t know. It didn’t feel heavy when I wrote it, so I’m proud of it.

12. Is there an episode above all others that inspires you just a little bit more?

Right now, I’m absolutely NUTS over Chat Blanc from Miraculous Ladybug. I’ve got at least three WIPs right now dedicated to that episode alone. I have so many thoughts about it, so many questions! What was Chat thinking when he was all alone, akumatized? Did he hear voices? How often did he talk to himself, or perhaps to his Lady? What if he HADN’T exploded the whole world; what would the consequences of THAT timeline be? The possibilities are endless.
