Well, first thing to consider is I live in the city so it’s a lot of commuting, but most of the first years live on campus. I think living in res will really give you the full experience but I can’t really talk about that part

First of all the campus is absolutly gorgeous, it’s very green, giving a break of the city. However pretty much all your classes will be in the same building (with a few exceptions) which means no running to another building in 10 minutes time

I think being on macdonald campus really gives a much greater sense of community since it is such a small campus (again easier to blend in if you live there, but if you don’t definitly attend frosh and talk to tons of people). You have classes with the same people often, which also gives you the chance to know them better. Even during frosh/orientation, as a mac student I got to know a lot of faces and people whereas I know some of my friends downtown stuck with people they knew and didn’t meet that many new people since there where so many.
