A little more on "balance" as a concept in here and how it isn't always a simple "good" vs. "evil" sort of thing - as it never is. Morality is as subjective as it has ever been and is simply a lens through which one may try to see how to achieve balance.
In the end, in can be used to help decide that which must be removed so something can be added - that which must die so that something may live.
To know of the equalizing scales of existence is to know of any ecosystem in turn; it is a balance of life and death, creation and ruin.
Even among the divine planes beyond Mortalis where life is seemingly eternal, as all is a construct of Mana and soul, matters of energy - it operates by the same rules: nothing is every truly created, nor destroyed, only moved. For a Creator to create is an exchange of themselves. They live through their Creations and, by extension, their Creations live through them. The cycles of divines are different than that of mortals, but these are still cycles of their own design...
Yet again, a reminder that all is but an endless loop within an endless story, aptly named: The Fabula Infinita. 📕
