rocket surgery
brain science.
Aizhan had frequently caught herself staring at Jude with an almost morbid fascination. They’d both just be lounging around her shop, her reading and him doing... Something to entertain himself, and she’d dip out of the physical plane to watch the swirling energy and colors of the astral. Only to see a dense, unbroken black around her visitor.
Put simply, it was unnerving.
The blond was off in one corner with Orhan (she refused to call him Clarence) running in circles around him and batting at his feet, and Aizhan snapped back into the present with a frown very apparent on her face. Her fingers tap rapidly on the counter top as her brows pull together, and she rocks back and forth, nearly getting up before settling back down, again and again. Finally, she pushes back her chair, striding over to Jude, stopping just shy of being right over his shoulder with her hands on her hips.
❝Alright, something’s bugging me, and it has been for a while. So I’m gonna ask you some questions, and this time, I want answers.❞ // @catastrophicur & plotted.

HUMBLE.
HUMBLE. -How does your muse handle praise?
Depends entirely on the praise, but usually? She already Knows(tm) and I hate it. This woman knows she’s attractive, knows she’s good with a gun, knows she’s intelligent, she knows she’s strong and she knows she’s good in bed. Whatever praise you could give her, she’s more or less pretty neutral about it because.... you can’t really tell her something she doesn’t know. Her confidence level is honestly pretty impressive, but she doesn’t think she’s better than anyone else. She just knows her own worth; she’s had to work for to the bone for it.
If we’re talking her outward reaction towards it? Usually she’d keep up her persona, and smirk about it. Sometimes she’ll play it humble. Other times she’d make a joke out of it. But if the question is how she internally reacts towards praise -- she usually doesn’t. Someone else’s opinion doesn’t really move her.

“Okay, so I have a perfectly reasonable explanation for this.” Actually, no he didn’t; Kyou was having an incredibly difficult time trying to think of an even remotely decent explanation for his current situation. It mostly just seemed to be a poorly executed landing, ending up with the teen tangled up among the branches of a tree.
It was the main reason why he hesitated in sharing anything, staring at the other for a rather uncomfortable amount of time. “An explanation that is long and complicated, and one I would rather tell you after I get a bit of help. I’m starting to get a bit of a headache.” He never did like being upside-down.
