Heyo, I was wondering if you have any good information on the legendary dog trio: Suicune, Entei, and Raikou? I've recently had a dream w very strong feels about them and am considering on pursuing things further. I really want to be respectful though and was also wondering if you had any personal exp w them at all firsthand, or just your general advice? I adore your blog btw. Thanks in advance!!
Hello! About a year ago I answered this ask about Raikou which includes details relevant to the entire legendary dog trio, such as their origins and attitudes towards people and a potential area of magickal focus for Raikou. I will say though, since I didnât say it there, that there are shown to be more than one of each of these PokĂ©mon, so the origin described there doesnât apply to every incarnation.
As for the other two, Suicune spends a lot of time looking for water to purify, which to me shows a clear valuing of life and nature. Suicune doesnât stick to one place, keeping water clean for its own benefit. It goes around the world selflessly using its gift to clean even the dirtiest of water. It must want life to prosper and thrive. A commitment to protecting and nurturing the Earth would be important for working with Suicune.
Entei also wanders, but with much less purpose. Its PokĂ©dex entry states it is âunable to contain its sheer power, [racing] headlong around the land.â Entei cannot contain its passion and expresses this by running. An outlet to release excess energy would be needed to work with Entei. For PokĂ©mon like this I usually always suggest finding some sort of physical activity you can enjoy to express your own emotions, like running or dancing or something less strenuous but easier to commit to. Entei also has an affinity for volcanoes, which can be destructive and dangerous forces, that are able to pave the way for new life given time. Working with any of these PokĂ©mon means confronting the dual nature of nature itself.
