#CastleCrush is a civil engineering and dexterity game for 2 to 4 players that's incredibly fun and satisfying. You build your castle as high as you can with one of 6 types of block, and although you score lots of points for building a tall castle, you're also trying to keep your king safe, who must be built into your structure, and also keep your general safe, who must not be in the castle--he's needs to be in the field directing the troops after all. The, after the initial buildings are scored, everyone gets to attack twice with the pictured super cool wooden hammer, and get points for destroying castles and knocking out kings and/or generals, so when you build you'll want to balance building tall, unstable, high-scoring castles with building someting sturdy and safe. You then score what's left of your building, keep the blocks that weren't destroyed, grab three more, and play two more rounds. Highest score wins. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like there are plans for American distribution as of today, so for now, it's a Taiwanese import that's a bit pricey. Luckily, it's not too difficult to find: you can purchase it from Funagain.com, the BGG.com marketplace or directly through the designer via geekmail on #bgg. Then again, I can't imagine something this fun not eventually being picked up by someone in the US. #boardgames #gamenight #bgg
