All of Star Trek is binge worthy. But I have to confess I’ve only seen the original series and its movies, and the new movies. My family was more Star Wars than Star Trek, though I enjoy both. Tv and movies have always been a comfort to me, as well as books. I used to stay up past my bedtime just reading. Sadly as I got older, I had less time to read with university and work. But I still try to read as much as I can- mostly fiction and some history. Do you have a favorite book or series? -Santa
Oh, yes, I love to read. I like reading, thrillers/mysteries, adventure, historical fiction, science fiction, and fantasy.
My favorites book series as the DUNE saga by Frank Herbert, The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, The Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson,  the Percy Jackson series (along with all the spinoffs) by Rick Riordan, The Marcus Didius Falco mysteries by Lindsey Duncan, Roma Sub Rosa series by Steven Saylor, The Cotton Malone series by Steve Berry, Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Hitchhiker’s Guide series by Douglas Adams, Amelia Peabody mysteries by Elizabeth Peters, and–like many in the fandom right now–I’m loving the IN DEATH series by J.D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts). Also I read the officially licensed Star Trek and Star Wars books–the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn being a particular favorite.
One of my favorite authors is Michael Crichton, my favorite books of his are JURASSIC PARK and SPHERE.
I also enjoy John Grisham, THE SUMMONS is my one favorite of his.
Also, once in a while, I like picking up a reading some William Shakespeare.
History books, mainly about Ancient Rome (including historical sources, like Titus Livius and Suetonius), as that was my field of interest in college. I also like history books about Ancient Greece, the Viking age, the American Revolution, and the Middle Ages.
I usually always have a book I’m reading at any moment, sometimes multiple at once. Some people stare at me funny when I saw I bounce between two or more books at once. For me it’s like switching channels, from one TV show to another. If you can watch TV shows like that, I don’t think it should be too difficult to do something similar with books.
Currently, I’m reading Star Trek: Enterprise - The Roman War: To Brave The Storm by Michael A. Martin. Waiting on deck for when I finish that is Visions In Death by J.D. Robb.
