On the day Kris is supposed to sign his contract with the St Louis Tornadoes, he's taken aside by his dad.

"I know it's what you wanted," his dad said. He should know; it's his NHL contacts that Kris used to make sure he'd be drafted by the Tornadoes. "But are you sure this is a good idea?"
