Neither. For one thing she’s barred from further sacrament, and for another, I just don’t foresee it being a thing. Maybe. He’d have to ask, though. She’d never presume.

Maybe. I keep feeling like there was some sort of something between her and Arrow Fei. I suspect it ended with his death. Before she was Curst, she had flings and couplings, but was not exactly in the best position to consider her romantic future anyway.

If there was something like that with Arrow, I think it would have been easy. They were equals. With Edrick it’s harder: although he insists on treating her as an equal too, it’s not something she’s fully able to accept.

I imagine so. Her father probably brought treats like that on the occasions he visited his children, but after she left with her elder brother Giraud, it would have been a less frequent thing in her life. Sancour probably has wonderful chocolate, and whether she’s right or not (they do pretty well on Hesperus, and it’s easy to find on Thracian Primarus), she will forever insist on the superiority of her homeworld’s confectionary.

Wait, is 38S a Joss? I don’t think we’ve established this, but other than not looking anything like a Joss, she does kind of feel like a Joss. Not even really because she ends up with a Jim, but mostly because she has the same sort of kind, caretaking presence. Maybe 38H was a Joss, and as another No. 38 they just share certain characteristics ...

She’s never been in a position where it would be appropriate for her to say that to someone, so it’s hard to tell.

She had an unrequited crush on 85B, a combat model whose data she was responsible for managing. But 85B was in love with someone else until that person died. I think that 38S had some hopes that maybe 85 would come to see her in a new light after she came out on the other side of her grief, but then came the incident that required 85B to restore to a much older backup and have to deal with that loss anew. 85B understandably didn’t want to see her anymore after that.

 H   :   HEART.   is your muse quick or slow to give their heart away?

 P   :   PARTNER.   what does your muse look for in a partner? looks / personality?

These are things common to all Josses: they would say “someone kind,” but I, as their player, know better. The answer is “someone to mend.” (Like me, and like nearly all of my OCs, every Joss is bisexual.)

Joss is very casually affectionate to the point where it’s hard to tell when she’s flirting because she’s just that nice to everyone. You’ll have to hear about it secondhand: she starts checking up on you when you’re not around, making sure you’re okay.

They feel it way, way before they say it. It’s not that saying it is hard for any Joceline, really, it’s that they’re afraid saying it as soon as they mean it will scare people off.

Not really. Caelina was a bit isolated while she was growing up within the Empire, and became even more so when her parents fled after discovering the depths of Project Meteor. Her childhood as a refugee was a rather lonely one.

Yes ... for other people. Since Shadowbringers that’s obviously changed, but although Caelina had dates and crushes and relationships, nothing felt like it was going to last her whole lifetime.These days, well, she’s found her true love. Or he’s found her.

Caelina is a meddler. She loves to fuss and involve herself and try to solve everyone else’s problems. She’s not above a little gentle needling with good friends.

Well, there’s the one everyone knows about (Aymeric), but when she was a little older than that but not yet old enough to begin training with the Temple Knights, her mother and one of her mother’s Durendaire relations were seriously discussing the idea of having Odette wed to the Durendaire heir, a budding astrologian named Césaire. He was lost, of course, on a sea voyage, and with him all of Odette’s mother’s aspirations for her child.

It was only when she, too, had turned her back on Ishgard that she and Césaire chanced to meet (though he did not own that name by then) ...

The answer to this question was yes (she was expected to), then no (she had no wish to, and no faith in the promises marriage was meant to entail). Of late, the answer has become yes again, because Aymeric fulfills his promises and places no expectations upon her as his wife but that they might enjoy one another’s company.

 A   :   AFFECTION.   how does your muse show affection?

She kind of doesn’t. Odette is a notorious flirt, but there’s no real intention behind her coquetry and no affection in her casual touch. To show affection, real affection, is to betray her actual thoughts or opinions on something, and that is not permissible.That kind of vulnerability is not allowable to a lady of Ishgard. So really, if she tells you one (1) genuine opinion or thought of hers, that’s all the real, serious affection you’ll be allowed for like a year probably.

Herphone had buzzed almost non-stop since she exited the train station,sprinting down city blocks and across zebra striped crosswalks. Shehadn’t even stopped to check it; Miyumi could guess already who themessages were from and what they were likely to be saying.

Shewas not a very good runner. Miyumi was sure that her hair was allwindblown and her cheeks were red by the time she came to the cafe.She might have stopped to check her reflection in the glass front ofthe shop, but what if someone saw?

Worsestill, what if no one did? The cafe seemed pretty empty. Shepushed open the door, trying to smooth her hair back into place withher fingers as she wandered between the seats. A few people looked upat her as she passed, but they were all strangers to her. Her stepsgrew heavy as she approached the counter.

Herphone had been silent the last few blocks, and she kept waiting forit to jolt in her pocket, but it remained still. The girl behind thecounter—maybe a couple of years older than Miyumi, probably astudent at the nearby university—smiled at her.

“MayI help you?” she asked.“Um,” Miyumi said. “Did you seea boy come in? About my age, his hair is dyed red, and he wears darkclothes.”She nodded. “Yes, he came in an hourago—”“Great!” Miyumi said, a bit more shrilly than shemeant to, enthusiasm running away with her. “Do you know where he’ssitting?”“… But he left,” she finished.“Oh,”Miyumi said. “How … how long ago?”The girl shrugged. “Idon’t know.
