◖♪◗ - There was a time where there would be no need for such a line. ‘Of course, I am’ would have flowed from her lips to easily. No hesitations, no debate, no fear. A time where a soft smile and a gentle hand grab would be all it took for him to get her to his side. A time where he was like a light, warming her up with every glance. A time when she thought nothing would change between them. And if it did, it would only be for the better. 

  Except now she couldn’t look him in the eyes she use to get lost in. Darkness she never thought was possible seemed to surround them, leaving a faint sense of being trapped. His statement left unresponded hung like a weight between them. Part of her wanted to answer, the other part was trying to stop shaking. Hands tugging the end of her ponytail to the point it was almost painful. 

  Slowly Olexa gained the nerve to glance up, catching sight of his new features. Silver hair, a tattoo near his eye. It almost seemed like a different person if she didn’t know any better. If only it could be, but all it took was a look at his eyes to recognize the man she had gotten so close to these few years. The man she fell in love with. 

     “I-I can’t… I-I-” The girl’s voice cracked. Tears stung her eyes, threatening to fall. Not sure if they were caused by the fear she felt or the heartbreak. “I-I can’t do-do-do this anymore… Please.” ‘Please stop this all’ she wanted to beg. She knew he was hurt, after all, that had happened lately. She understood and wanted to stay by him. She wanted nothing more than to hold his hand through this hardship and help him through it. She wanted to, with all her heart she wanted to.

Do I Want To Role Play With Them? roleplay with ghost is one of my three major moods of the day. An AU Idea(s) For Our Muses: 

rogue & sorano in a wonder woman movie-inspired au, where sorano is a member of a legendary race of female warriors / summoners called celestials, and rogue is a man (occupation of your choosing) who washes up on their sacred island and ends up falling prisoner to the celestials. sorano, who has the opportunity to speak with rogue and learn of the world he comes from, sees good and kindness in him (whether he is or not, would be up to you). she hesitantly helps him escape, at risk of her entire livelihood with the celestials.

rogue & sting are detectives / monster hunters tho!?

rogue & yukino (and probably sting) are trained assassins since childhood, under the fearless warlord, jiemma. yukino and rogue eventually question their loyalties and seek to leave their dark past behind together. (this almost feels like a MCU thing)

◖♪◗ - She had kept it in for so long, and continued to try. Always relentlessly attempting to hold herself together. But at his words, tears began their escape. How much she wanted to question him, ask him how he could see perfection when all she saw was faults. Her endless frustrations with herself, the ones she tried her hid. Her arm, her scars, her true dark emotions, how she never wanted anyone, especially him to know about. The fear that if he did he’d see all that she hated, in turn, he’d hate her too.

          And yet, he was doing the opposite. 

  The kiss came as a shock, so much so she almost retracted her hand from his grasp. “I-I’m… I’m so-… so-sorry.” The apology came with a quivering, quite voice and in between light sobs. Like an automated response pre-programmed to say. Although the girl wasn’t sure what exactly she was saying it for.

  Maybe for everything. Everything seemed like a good fit. For her mistakes, for her weakness, for her existence. For her audacious thinking that she belonged with him when in reality Rogue was just a caring soul and “I’m such a-a-a-a-a mess…”

  Olexa pulled her hand away, using it to grip her scared and bleeding arm. If she could she would disappear then and there. But instead, she brought her knees close and tried to make herself as small as possible. Burying her tear-soaked face.

sherry stared at the hand that was holding hers and then back at the dragon slayer said hand belonged to. all right. this was . . . strange. she was not close to rogue cheney at all, had perhaps exchanged the usual pleasantries at some point. but almost breaking her own head in two as she tried to divine the reasoning behind this rather sudden action would not do her any good, and instead of protesting loudly, she went along with it, her hand only twitching slightly in his grasp.

gods, she was so cautious when it came to her hands, so careful to avoid anything that could hurt them. a broken leg would be far less annoying than even a sprained finger. ah, the way priorities shifted from what was normal if one’s entire career depended on it.

still --- the matter remained; her hand was suddenly in someone else’s grasp and she was appropriately confused by it. he had never seemed to be someone who did things without good cause, had never struck her as someone who suddenly decided that grabbing an almost-stranger's hand was acceptable social conduct --- so she could reasonably expect an explanation once--- all right, so he was pulling her away from the main square. curious. clearing her throat, she pulled slightly on his hand to fully gain his attention.

‘‘ cheney-san, ’’ she said quietly, calmly. while she interacted with powerful mages on a fairly regular basis, sabertooth was a different story altogether. it made her wary, certainly, but no less blunt. ‘‘ while i rather enjoy holding people’s hands, i doubt that you --- grabbed me for that reason. should i be mistaken, my apologies --- but you could do with a more refined approach. should i not be mistaken, i have a question: what on earth are you doing? ’’
