Having a cast is the biggest fucking tease ever..
Oh your arms itchy?
Well that sucks
that moment when the movie of a book you love starts and you think to yourself "i shouldn't have done this"
Okay I blocked him and I'm going to bed
Have whatever fetishes you want, but don't collect people's pictures to whack off to without their permission you weirdo
Don't fetishize my cast dude that's fucking creepy. I am hurt and majorly inconvenienced by this serious injury, it is NOT FOR YOUR PLEASURE omg

Of course my brother's in Florida when I could use a slave right about now.
Ready for a rant?
So. I'm starting to have feelings for this guy in my cast. And I sort of don't want to, because we are good friends and I don't want to like, fuck up that friendship, you know? Well. I was going to talk to him today, and my cast mates were like "No. You can't grow balls and do it now. Wait until the show is over."
What?
I mean, I don't want to be rejected and make things awkward because I do have to interact with this kid onstage and we have to go across the country with each other with this show, but then again; I'll never know what the outcome will be if I do wait.
I don't know man. I'm sort of just confused.
When the nurse at the doctor's office today put the cast on my foot to keep it immobilized to heal the sprain.... what no one realized was that my foot was angling downwards the entire time, and that it wasn't going to stay that way once the cast was set, not when the nurse left room open near my toes for them to start angling down. She did it so I could still see and wiggle my toes because they swelled up and got incredibly bigger since Wednesday and we wanted to see if/when they'd get better.
But the problem is, with my foot constantly trying to go down, and the bottom of the cast preventing it, there's a lot of pain going on. Like... so much that Percocets aren't even stopping the pain. I'm using the anti-inflammatories, I'm using the pain killers that the doc's prescribed but they're not doing the job. I slept for 45 minutes between 1 and 1:45 earlier, and between 4 and 4:45. But that was all I did tonight. The rest was trying to find ways of easing the pressure on the bottom of my foot.
I've given up on sleeping for tonight because the only way to control the pain is to put a little pressure on the foot and keep the toes off the bottom of the cast.
I can't be the only person this has happened to. Has anyone else ever dealt with this problem? Waking up 45 minutes after falling asleep, crying in pain because the best pain killers that doctors are willing to prescribe for your type of injury don't want to work and won't even knock you out enough to let you sleep through the pain?
