Despite the lights and eyes that bore into him on such occasions, the young man found himself rather at peace among the yelling swarms of faces and flashing lenses. While some may have attributed it to the fact that he’d been in the spotlight for over five years now, his comfort levels had flatlined, and although there were still plenty of unusual situations in which he could fine himself, there were few that offered a feeling of shock when it came to award shows.

Head swiveling to returning his attention to his group, the blonde realized rather suddenly that he was—for whatever strange reason—now alone. Well, “alone” in the sense that the rest of Legion was nowhere to be seen, swallowed by the humming and bustling crowd. Doing a slight spin, the rapper turned about, only to step on someone else’s foot.
“Excuse me,” he said, an apologetic sentiment thick on the words as dyed brows furrowed upwards.
