Fitted the barrels lower feet or lug today. This is not the first Ive done but I was shocked at how fast this one went. 20 min and I was done. Used the Browells lower lug cutter (0.195) and then had to do about 5 mind of filing after to smooth things out and it fits just perfect. Next was the #5 link. The measured lock up with and with out the slide stop is the same. Right at the max. So the barrel is in full lock up with the feet resting on the slide stop. Very tight lock up as well. I installed the EGW full length guid rod and she cycles just perfect. This is going to be a great target and comp gun. Next is the firing pen stop. Again. 2nd time. Lost the first one. Oops. Then sights. I have some Wilson Combat grips for now but will prob be looking or something different.
