Ras Kuuku picks 10 songs for “Road Of Evil” Album

Ras Kuuku is finally out with his much anticipated new album “Road Of Evil”. It’s available on all music streaming platforms now.

The multi-award winning Ghanaian Singjay, whose real name is Kojo Kurankye, after exploring varied sounds in the past few years has come back to defend his core mandate with a full Reggae Album. Almost 90% of the songs on it reflect the colour of a one drop sound, majorly produced by BozyBeat, one of the budding Ghanaian Music Producers who worked on 8 out of the 10 songs enlisted for this project. CaskeysOnit, another award winning Ghanaian Music Producer also worked on 2 songs from the album, “Road Of Evil”.

“This Album is titled ‘Road Of Evil’ because I know there are so many obstacles in this life; it’s not always we get all the things we want or need, owing to different energies crossing our paths.

The theme for this album is to remind the human race to keep focus on the journey ahead and move on regardless. We need to keep to God in the ROAD OF LIFE to overcome the road of evil-minded fellows”, Ras Kuuku explained.

Tracks 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 were produced by BozyBeat while Tracks 2 and 5 were produced by CaskeysOnit.

Konkarah Jahvybz features Ras Kuuku on “Jah Lives” to seal year 2023

Two unapologetic Ghanaian Reggae a musicians who have defied a lot of odds in recent times to move into the mainstream visibility are Konkarah Jahvybz and Ras Kuuku. These 2 stalwarts have since time immemorial stood their grounds to stand for positive and soul uplifting music within the Reggae and Dancehall circles.

Both artistes have joined forces under a new jam produced by CaskeysOnit titled “Jah Lives”. This is a song they have released to close the year.

“Jah Lives” by Konkarah which features Ras Kuuku is a caution song to still instill the message of steadfastness in the ghetto youths in the face of recent economic hardships. Both used their powerful lyrics to advise the youths to still believe in God Almighty and never give up.

Konkarah Jahvybz got into mainstream spotlight this year (2023) when he got nominated for Vodafone Ghana Music Awards with his song “A Go Dey” featuring Kelvyn Boy for the “Reggae/Dancehall Song Of The Year” Category. He holds at least 4 Albums to his credit with major features with Samini, Yaa Pono, Iwan, Obibini, just to name a few.
