BEFORE & AFTER TIME! Thanks to the @oneroomchallenge the #ckranchalow got a major refresh. The past month I’ve been busy transforming my dated and worn bathroom to something that feels more current. Swipe to see the before! ——> Lighting plays a huge role in a remodel and the right placement is key. I switched the single overhead sconce to two @hudsonvalley sconces on each side of the mirror at eye level. This provides more even and consistent light instead of overhead shadows. Rapper’s Delight! This was on our client’s answering machine, yes answering machine, 20ish years ago when they first met. And fast forward to now, they are fulfilling their own #bigdreamsofasmallchalet. Our favorite part on this project? Working with clients who want to share their personality and incorporate it into their home. Interior Design shouldn’t be about spending loads of money. Yes, it’s a luxury that not everyone can afford but my goal at Casework is to make the service more approachable. Our Seattle Colonial is on @dominomag and it’s making my weekend!! The design objective was to take a 1925 Colonial style home and update it for a family of four while honoring the traditional details. And there are so many good traditional details! The breakfast nook shown here and adjacent kitchen, mudroom and pantry are a 500sf addition. I’m photographing a few projects in my home next week with the super talented @neekmason. This is my favorite angle from our last shoot at Work & Co and I’m excited to be working together again, this time on a much smaller scale. - First up is the dressing room, I have a bunch of DIY’s in mind.
