TortuCas es un proyecto en el cual se apoya a la Fundación Yepez A.C, la cuál se dedica a proteger a las tortugas marinas de la zona de Nautla, Veracruz y a mantener el ecosistema en el que se encuentran. 

Durante el proyecto ayudaremos a limpiar las playas (específicamente las zonas de anidación), recorrer las playas durante turnos nocturnos para ubicar nidos recién puestos, rescatar de huevos en riesgo, trabajar en actividades que mejores el mantenimiento de instalaciones, reforestar palmas cocoteras y liberar tortugas bebés en el mar.

El proyecto me parece una idea increíble, y aunque requiera mucho esfuerzo, espero que la experiencia valga la pena. Creo que ayudar a los animales es una manera muy bonita de poder aplicar nuestros talentos y habilidades. Además creo que el ver nacer a estas maravillosas criaturas, es un espectáculo que la naturaleza nos da la oportunidad de vivir y que debemos de aprovechar.

It had been a month since Nicole’s death, and Ben had done nothing but cry since his very last conversation with her in the hospital. Seeing his Nicole die right before his eyes was the hardest thing Ben had ever had to do. He missed her, more than anything. He missed her smile, and her contagious laugh. He missed her bright blue eyes and the way her lips felt against his. He missed the way her hand fit perfectly into his and the usual the light that she brought with just her presence. Ben missed all of that and just thinking of these things made the tears fall from his eyes and send him into a fit of sobs.

His parents had become very concerned, both of them were sad over Nicole’s death but they were worried for the sake of their son. He did nothing but sit in his room, head buried into a pillow as he cried over the loss of his true love. Ben had hardly moved from that spot since her death and didn’nt even speak to anyone and he hardly ate, when he did it was a few bites and then he would go back to his never ending sobs.

The only people who dared to come into his room was his mother and Cas, and sometimes Isabelle and Johnny but the person who was always there for him was Cas. No matter what he would rush right over to Ben’s house, even if it was just because he wanted someone to cry on he would always be right there no questions asked. Ben was very thankful this, he saw how worried Cas had become, and it meant the world to him that he would drop everything just to come and watch him cry.

Over the course of the next month Ben had developed feelings for Cas, feelings he hadn’t experienced since he was with Nicole. These feelings consumed his mind and kept him up late at night racking his brains over why after he had been with Nicole his heart chose Cas.

It was now a little over two months since Nicole’s death, and Ben was deeply in love with Cas. Of course he didn’t know and Ben was still mourning over her death he couldn’t help but hold strong feelings towards Cas that he knew were never going away. Though these new feelings intrigued him they scared him, he didn’t tell Cas in fear of rejection after his lose and kept them bottled up inside to himself.

Isabelle sat on the edge of her bed, practically shivering with excitement as she waited for her best friend to arrive. She had only just gotten off the phone with Cas moments ago, and the brunette just couldn't wait to tell him the news. Blaise freaking Legume had kissed her. 

The boy she had practically been mooning over for more than half of her life, the boy who'd popped up in the conversations of Cas and Isabelle countless times, the boy who she could have sworn used to hate her....That boy had kissed her. Sure, he'd stopped it, and sure, he'd said it couldn't happen, but it was something, and Isabelle just couldn't wait to tell her best friend in the whole wide world about it.
