She doesn't see her beauty

Eddie was sat on a picnic table, his acoustic guitar held firmly in his grip, plucking away at the strings. He was still recovering from the demobats almost taring him limb from limb, his hands and wrists weren’t fully healed and as a result his ability to play was limited but he was working on rebuilding his strength. His cheek, neck, arms, legs, torso, everything was covered in deep cuts, at least the bruises were gone. The agents had cleared his name of the murder charges but most of the townsfolk still distrusted him, he had enough issues with being treated like a freak for being trans and alternative, but now people thought he was a murderer, but he wasn’t and he couldn’t process his trauma as a result. He turned his head to see who was approaching him, “careful there Carver, I’m a dangerous man.” His usual Eddie spark was gone, he seemed, tired.

The next time Jill goes to the fire watch tower after Billy died she’ll find the door wide open and the radio on. Almost as if someone barged in and decided to stick around.

Eddie smiles before reaching over to take back the stolen goods from Jill. “Hey man I worked hard to steal this- took a few minutes out of my day.” He really doesn’t need her bag he was mostly just borrowing her history homework though he hadn’t asked before he’d done it. “Just borrowing your homework then you can have back all your lipglosses and whatever things pretty girls like you carry in your bags. You did do the homework, right? I’m totally screwed if you didn’t.”

Fright Fest at Six Flags in Illinois had just begun, and Eddie, for once, had the cash to go. Excitedly, he had invited Jill Carver along with him -- the two of them had been getting on quite well, after all, and he thought why not? He parked in the lot then excitedly bounded out of the van and up toward the lines for admissions with the blonde by his side. The sky was darkening purple, the sun having just disappeared beyond the horizion. “You’re not easily scared, are you?” He asked with twinkling eyes and a devious smile. “’Cause I wanna see as much as I can.”

Andy couldn’t help but roll his eyes upon seeing his best friend’s sister make her way over to them. Why the fuck did she have to be at every fucking party? The two did not get along in the slightest, but managed to withstand each other for about three minutes every time they unfortunately crossed paths. When she finally approached, Andy gave her a nod, acknowledging her presence. “Jill.” He greeted plainly, no emotion of any kind behind it.
