The dialogue in this fanfiction makes you feel like you’re reading a script from a Roswell episode because the lines by Michael and Alex sound just like words they would say. This story is a classic Malex ship story that is relatively short and easy to read.

I loved this story because it was told from the perspective of Michael’s mom, which is never really explored in the show, but is a very important relationship.

This fanfiction piece was especially interesting because it explores the possibility of Alex and Liz finding out that Max, Isobel, and Michael are aliens in high school. This discovery in high school would have had endless ripple effects.

The relationship between Max and Liz is depicted so well in this video because it highlights all of the times Max goes above and beyond to save Liz, but also the tension between them. 

2. Michael, Max, Isobel

This fan video illustrates the strong bond shared between Michael, Max, and Isobel. Their relationship has always amazed me because I wish I had this unbreakable of a bond with my sister. In this video, the music brings all of the clips together into a fluid video, with the conversations between the characters overlaid. 

3. I’ll Be Good -- Alex Manes

I really liked this fan video because it spliced together all of the qualities of Alex that the show doesn’t always highlight. In this video we see how brave Alex really is and how much he has gone through. Rather than focusing on what makes Alex different, like being gay, disabled, and Native American, this video shows how brave he is.

4. Liz Ortecho -- You should see me in a crown

I loved this video because of how the creator used lighting and music to make it seem like Liz was living in a horror movie. The way the scenes were cut together created an element of suspense. The music and lighting choices lead to an ominous mood that you wouldn’t typically associate with Roswell.
