Even though this is a normal side quest, and I mostly made it revolve around Diego and Veruca, I feel a reward should still be given. And this reward is the outfit you choose when discussing with Andre during the ‘Look the Part’ task.

The first outfits at each end were designed based on what my MCs, Carson and Veruca, would wear if they entered a dance contest. You know Carson loves his glitter, so he would obviously wear something with glitter. And Veruca loves her dresses, so she would definitely stick to that attire.

1) How does their relationship develop in tandem with the Vaults?  Are they a hindrance or do they bring them closer together?

The Cursed Vaults were quite a hindrance to these two and their relationship. Carewyn would’ve been much more likely to return to the Slytherin Quidditch team if it weren’t for her hyper-focus on saving her brother and dealing with the Vaults and R...and if Carewyn had been on the Slytherin team, she and Orion would’ve interacted much more over the course of their school careers and likely would’ve clued into how much they enjoy each other’s company and respect each other a lot sooner. Orion also refrained from confessing to Carewyn right before his graduation because he knew that Carewyn would never choose a possible romance over looking after her family, both blood and found, by dealing with the Vaults, just as he wouldn’t be able to put his dreams of playing Quidditch professionally aside. It’s only post-Hogwarts (and post-Vaults) that Carewyn is really able to breathe enough to even consider pursuing a romantic relationship. 

9) What’s their primary love language (words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, quality time, or physical touch)?

Words of affirmation and quality time are the name of the game with these two -- they’re both rather sensitive and insightful people on the “A” side of the LGBT+ spectrum, so they’re both prone to want to share experiences and feelings more than physical trappings or intimacy. Orion loves it whenever Carewyn sings for him, for instance, and Carewyn also loves leaving Orion handwritten love notes in his locker or on his bed. They also enjoy going on outings together: Carewyn, the planner of the two, often suggests places based on Orion’s (and occasionally her own) interests, such as a village near the shore where they can go window shopping and look out at the ocean.

13) What’s the dumbest or most ridiculous thing they’ve seen each other do? 

Carewyn has seen Orion act out on his broom plenty of times. The surfing Slytherin Quidditch Captain has frequently used his broom to solve his problems when any number of spells might do it more efficiently or safely. When they were adults, Carewyn had a heart attack once, for instance, when she came to visit Orion at his cottage in Montrose and found him painting some shutters while dangling upside down off his broom by his leg.

Although Carewyn puts on a sophisticated mask and doesn’t like being embarrassed, that doesn’t mean Orion has never seen her act out before. While they were at school, Orion found one or two of his meditation sessions rudely interrupted by Carewyn and her friend Carson Ivey @ariparri-hphm loudly hollering rock songs down the halls. Whenever it happened, Orion wouldn’t be able to stop himself from hiding his face in his hand and shaking his head because seriously, Carewyn, your confidence rivals that of a hippogriff, but OW.

- Er, Sophie, a little help here... ? I think those Puffskeins are gonna eat me....

- Uuuuhhh, Carson..... ?

- Yes ?

- We're out of food....

A day late but here’s a Mother’s Day drawing of Wilhelmina and Norah-Raylene! Carson and Veruca’s mothers finally have an appearance! ʕ⁎̯͡⁎ʔ༄

Wilhelmina, Wil or Wilma for short, is the more serious mother between her and Norah. Despite mostly showing her affection for her children through compliments and praises, she adores them both equally. With Coby, parenting comes naturally given that he was such a mama's boy growing up. Despite the way she grew up, Wilma tries hard not to raise Veruca in the same manner and lets her daughter pick a style that she enjoys. Though many people will say that Veruca is a lot like her father, Veruca is actually a lot more like her mother.

I’m here to reintroduce my boy after a long time of not making any official content with him! For all my old and new mutuals and followers, meet Carson Ivey, my second MC for Hogwarts Mystery and Veruca McQuaid’s childhood best friend!

Carson Ivey is a halfblood Scottish wizard, born on August 4th 1972. His father, Hudson, is a wizard and his mother Norah-Raylene is a muggle. Carson loves his parents greatly, and his mother fondly addresses him by the nickname Carsy. A name that Carson would take offense to if someone else called him that as that is considered a sacred name only his mother can use.

Carson grew up with Veruca, knowing each other when they were both five years old. Despite his parents' protests to the McQuaids paying for Carson's enrollment to attend the same performing arts school with Veruca, Elroy and Wilhelmina insisted it would be a nice experience for Carson since he showed an interest in music. Eventually the Iveys gave in when Carson said he wanted to learn how to play an instrument so he can play for them.

Out of all the instruments, Carson grew to love the violin. Carson has always been extremely responsive to music. He would sometimes cry like a baby listening to a moving piece of music. The violin is one of the most moving instruments he's ever experienced. It also helps that he was really drawn to the power of orchestral music from classic plays and the theater.

Other than classical music, Carson loves 80s rock music. His favorite bands and artists are Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi, Quiet Riot, and REO Speedwagon. Despite Carson attending a performing arts school, he lacks skills in singing. His singing is a bad, high key, out of pitch tune that can be heard from another room or down the hall. His parents love him too much to ruin his fun. Even Veruca and her family let him have his singing moments, with Wilhelmina joking that if that boy ever learns to sing perfectly that is not the real Carson. He even humors them that he has no intentions of ever learning how to sing. His bad singing is part of his character.

Carson is also a lighthearted prankster. He isn't too fond of magic related pranks, thinking some of them can go a bit too far. His pranks and jokes are meant to be for fun where everyone can laugh. Sure, the glitter prank he is most known for can get very messy, but he's always sticking around to clean it up after having a good laugh. If someone ever got caught in a prank set up for someone else, Carson will make sure that they're okay and will compensate if anything of theirs gets ruined or accidentally destroyed. One of his more lighthearted pranks is to wear odd and mismatched outfits to annoy Andre and even switch out Andre's clothes for horribly designed ones.

In Hogwarts, Carson has become adept in charms. And while he is decent with potions, he still sometimes botches the concoctions. Something he's always confused about since he follows the recipe exactly. He's not fond of Care of Magical Creatures due to how active the creatures get around him. A few occasions, the puffskeins would get loose and chase him around Hogwarts, once even cornering him completely in a room. It took more than Veruca, Rowan and Professor Kettleburn to get him out of the swarm.

This pick up line was absolutely PERFECT for Charson (๑>◡<๑)

Got this done very quickly because I actually like this one the most. Also like I really freaking adore this ship (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) I know I made Carson and Tulip endgame in my canon, but there’s something about Chester and Carson that I just love (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥｀) I’ve been in a dilemma with Carson's ships for a while now.

We’re still days away from the 11th, but I want to brainstorm something for my birthday σ^_^’ I have a lot of favorite ships but I don’t know which one to do :;(∩´﹏`∩);:
