A piece I wrote on my blog on the importance of standing in solidarity with the Muslim community as a Japanese American. I go into depth on anti-Japanese sentiment during WWII, Japanese interment, and the similarities b/w the treatment of Japanese Americans after Pearl Harbor to the treatment of Muslim Americans after 9/11.
