Oh this, this is the Seventeenth Broadcast by Yours Truly, Augustine Silvera.

Now you may beasking, Augustine, what's so special about today's Broadcast, why not 15, or any other nice looking number to celebrate with?

and... You'll be completely correct. 15, and 20, and 25,

each one of them is a milestone, but you see, I started this little broadcast of mine to send messages to a certain someone, and their birthday, is on the seventeenth. so I'm up here in my little cottage, celebrating this little milestone, oh and to my beloved, Happy Birthday My dear, I hope the day goes well for you.

But oh well, in other news, Tensions rise between The British and China, furthering our communal anxiety towards our long term well-being.

The Inflation goes up to an all time high as we take the shiny road towards a global recession.

And our dear Mahatma visits Ceylon. I wish for his safe return to India soon.

A listener of the broadcast and a dear friend of mine asked me to talk on the subject of war.

They asked me one day over some chai, Hey Auggie, Do you think there'll be another World War and I said Of course. It is a defining trait of Humanity, Historically in times of peace the people pray for there to be no more war and every time their wishes are denied by the gods.

War is imminent I said, as Imminent as rain in this godforsaken weather. I swear it sees more swings than my mood, But for anyone listening who may be as in love with the rain as i am, know that my knees tell me it's gonna rain soon But that's all we have for today folks.

[The recording ends here however a bit of background instrumentals continued playing which probably meant that the song continued on.

I have a date, A Date! I was panicked slightly. I was panicking yes. It was my first date you see, we were going to an art museum, me and coeur. It was going to be amazing. I didn't have any plans necessarily as to what I was going to do with her. I would just go there and figure it out.

But really I had everything planned, my brain would not have let me sleep otherwise. So anyway, I picked out and made a bouquet of daisies from our flower shop. Dressed up all dandy and went out for the date.

We were going to meet up at this cafe close by and then go to the museum, i wAlked there, all nervous and a wreak. what if i fucked it up? i thought, quickly getting rid of it. It wasnt to think up negativity or you'll create it. I was waiting... and waiting... and waiting... until the sun was high up and coeur was still nowhere to be seen.

I had been stood up, i thought, I had waited for the last 2 hours, the daisies resting on the table. I was beginning to lose hope, really why did I think that someone like coeur would actually want to go out on a date with me. she was gorgeous... and I was, well, me.

The barista looked almost worried by my sudden lack of hope. She almost sensed it, haunting my thoughts i suppose, looking into me, through me, across me, outside, i followed her gaze to see a girl who looked like coeur, almost getting hit by a car, twice, as she crossed the road to enter the cafe. "Hi!", she said to me, looking embarrassed.

"Hey", i responded back, nervous, she was late.

"I'm sorry I'm late", She said, "It's all right really", i said, it wasn't. "Here have the flowers, i got them for you", I said, "Thanks!" She replied, gushing. we went out and to the museum. She explained on the way why she was late, she was at the Hospital, didn't say why, and about her family. It was all right, i suppose, it was reasonable. I wasn't one to push for more than someone would like to share.

We entered the gallery, it was an amateur one really, she yabbled on about the art pieces, i looked at her mesmerized by how she knew all this. the piece in front of us was apparently called the garden of death, by hugo simberg, it was quite terrifying to my eyes, skills staring at you as it tended to flowers on shelves. it had a unique charm to it, i found it melancholic, and we moved on, so did the date.

It went amazingly, i came back home with heaven in my eyes and sat against the door for a while.
