Career World Credits Map: Copperdale
The Career World save file has been curated and edited by me, but is by no means filled with my own creations. Here are the original creators of the lots used in Copperdale. As an FYI, there are a number of variations for the formal dance version of dumbest_king's auditorium that I did specifically for this save file. They can be found on the gallery under the hashtag #CareerWorld.
Copperdale also contains a bunch of new teens made by talented CAS creators from the gallery. Here is a list of the new sims, broken down by house:
Womp Womp House: Most of the cheerleaders of Womp Womp House were made by X_Ody12_x. The only exceptions are Sidney Price, who was made by EA, and Valerie Bennett, who is part of a group of sims from the High School Years trailer made by Machine170. Coach Dugan, the Womp Womp House monitor, was made by Bunnyhart.
Llama House: Most sims in Llama house are EA originals. The only exceptions are Cody Thompson, who is part of the HSY trailer group by Machine170; Kiana Flynn, who was made by ExcitingChives; and Kyleigh Ocampo (name changed), who is by NaomiAE26.
Cowplant House: Tai Lum and Ash Harjo are EA originals. Ryan Guerra is by themessylemon. Tyler Peterson is by T33ths0up. Tristin Quan (altered) is by Zenrosa. Rainbow Hillman (altered) is by Shes_Witchin. Samaira Rihaan is by me (rachelwolfe).
Equine House: All members of the principal’s family are EA originals. Conner Rutherford, Justine Collins, and Louise Bell are all part of the HSY trailer group made by Machine170. Zain Darwish (altered) is by happy_nici.
Simian House: Zoe Patel and Savannah Price are EA originals. Tyler Keaton, Tara Hadid, and Sonya Hamilton are all part of the HSY trailer group made by Machine170. Jayce Flores (altered) is by LiamJLambie. Kogan Guo (altered) is by brachvogel7.
There are also a bunch of new unhoused teens made by MylesIsaiah intended specifically to serve as the required NPC teens for the high school events that take place on the football field after hours.
Thanks to all the creators!
Welcome!
Some simmers are builders, some are stylists, some are storytellers, and some of us are world builders. Where I find the most joy in the Sims is in perfectly matching builds from the gallery to sims, storylines, and themes, then integrating them all with clubs, N.A.P.s, relationships, and above all a multitude of little details that make the gameplay pop.
My save files seek to help The Sims 4 realize its full gameplay potential, and they do this by carefully selecting, editing, and curating together the work of multiple talented creators, who will receive credit here whenever I post a save file (first credit: the beautiful screenshot of the Arts Quarter in my blog header is by Mike from his site Sim Citizens. Go show him some love!).
The official Sims team is limited in what they can release by considerations about performance on low-end machines, which packs simmers may or may not have, etc. And they should be. But it does limit their ability to deliver everything the game could be. My save files do not have those limitations, and they explore just how powerful a creative tool the Sims can be.

Another Bug in the Update
Hey, Career World players!
I have been hard at work on the High School Years update (I know it's taking a long time, but I think you're going to like it!), and in the process I discovered another bug with this past update that affects the save file. I was already familiar with the "random fame" bug, which I expect the Sims team will eventually resolve. What I didn't know is that the NPC villagers from Cottage Living have to pass a "no fame" check to retain their roles, so if you have both Get Famous and Cottage Living installed, the game boots the regular NPC villagers in favor of new random spawns. This is obviously not a game-breaking bug, but it does annoy me, and it is a major pain to undo.
Luckily, a modder has released a fix for this, so if it bothers you, too, you can go download Simvasion's Villager NPC Roles Fix here. If you do not have this fix in your mods folder, the villagers will automatically re-roll the first time you visit either Finchwick or the Bramblewood. If, like me, you have already visited one or both of these places without the fix installed, you'll have to either undo the damage manually (which, like I said, is a major pain), or just wait for the next update, because I already went back and reassigned all the correct villagers for that. If you don't have the fix installed, don't bother trying to reassign the roles by cheat code, because it won't work. I, unfortunately, already went through two rounds of that before I discovered the modfix.
Be advised that if the Sims team does not release a fix for this before I release the next version of the save file, my corrected NPC village roles will not stay unless you have Simvasion's fix installed. So until the Sims team gets around to fixing this, Simvasion's mod is a must for anyone who wants to play Henford-on-Bagley without a bunch of randos.
Happy simming and hang tight!
