She wouldn’t be over dramatic like that, but she would be upset. She’d channel it into frustration, most likely, and unfortunately take that frustration out on those that are around her most often. Eventually, she would find another place (with noodles just as good) and would probably try and surprise Cardre with it - if Cardre was more upset about Honeydew burning down than she was.

What if, Esme and Cardre were tasked to kill one another by some (not so) random, unnamed 'higher power', yet without the knowledge of they themselves being a target for one another's reward, be it gold or whatever one desired? Would she do it (And if so, how would she? Nothing is too underhanded for a rogue, afterall!)? Or wuss out and confess she was to kill her, or anything in between?

If she was offered an obscene amount of gold - like the worth of Silvermoon City - or the position of high nobility, she would consider it, but she probably wouldn’t go through with it. She knows Cardre is too good at what she does (both ic and ooc, excuse u) and she wouldn’t want to take that chance. Also, Cardre has also been nothing but kind to her thus far without being ridiculously over the top about it and dare I say, they’re becoming friends. So a part of her wouldn’t want to abandon that either.

Now would she tell Cardre? Probably not. Or perhaps she would go to Cardre, tell her, and they would both try and and conspire against that unnamed ‘higher power’ to both get what they want and then ultimately turn on the person.

Now that would be rogueish.
