my opinion on;

character in general: judai yuki. yuki judai. my son, my cinnamon roll, one of my saviors, even. this boy has just about the best attitude someone could have, during the early stages of his life. he’s carefree, he’s fun-loving, he’s confident ( in a narcissistic manner, but still a good one ) he’s someone that a lot of kids wish they could be and i was definitely one of those people. he faced challenges head on, didn’t sink to his oppositions’ level, played fair and square. but the different layers to his character, jesus ch rist. at the beginning of the series you see this whimsical, cocky, and caring lad. always ready for a duel, always ready to show what he’s got to bring and slap his mark on wherever he is; he did a real good job of doing that too, you couldn’t not know who judai yuki, dropout boy was. as we get to the later seasons, you start to see this boy changing and you wonder, is this for better? or for worse? you start to see all of these new elements that are being birthed from within judai, when he’s thrown into truly difficult situations that causes him to believe he can’t handle them or to doubt his abilities. you saw the way he acted towards people he claimed to care about, how he treated them during different scenes, his voice, the texture and content of his words, the true meaning behind everything. he is NOT some humanitarian, overly kind, overly gentle person. he is a flawed human being who makes mistakes even though people had grown to not expect them out him due to the fact that he was a GIANT ASS WINNER and very very scarcely, a loser. i was there to grow with this boy as i watched him grow and i’ve seen the series over seven times already.  judai is my personal favorite protagonist, my personal favorite duelist, and i just love everything about this boy to death. i will always have a piece of judai inside of my soul to tell me it’s fucking okay when everything else says that it’s not. did i cr y whil e wiritng this who knows.how they play them: okay, i’m not gonna lie, i am EXTREMELY EXTREMELY picky about talking/interacting with judais on tumblr and just other judai blogs themselves. i’m not gonna go stating that i judge every single judai around, but if i’m followed by one, you best believe i analyze the shit out of stuff because while i can be apprehensive with duplicate judais, i can most definitely recognize, respect, and even adore a well-played judai. paint, your judai is the only judai i’ve come across to get all three of those feelings from me. i can’t tell you how happy i am that someone of your caliber decided to play my son and give him life with your own fantastic twists and your exemplary writing skills. you give him something deeper than what i’ve seen before, an insight to the true emotion and turbulence this boy has undergone in his years, but still retaining that newly refreshed carefree and happy-go-lucky attitude that he was shown to have recovered in bonds beyond time. you play him so fluently and i’m more than honored to be able to have my judai call yours his brother. the mun: every time our judais interact, i get excited, every time we talk about our judais/headcanon them to each other ( it hasn’t been a lot recently but that will change– ), i get excited. you’re a sensible, funny, and caring person and i’m glad to have met you. you give me this sort of .. like, a level-headed comfort when i talk to you? i’m a huge spazz, i do shit i’m not supposed to and you talk to me calmly and honestly that helps to calm me down too??? like.. you just have this somewhat serious, calming air about you and it’s part of the reason i really like talking to you because i feel like i’m talking to someone wise, beyond their years and that i could just sit and listen to if you were to tell me stories or talk me to about important life stuff, idk!! you truly feel like an intelligent older sibling to me and that’s something i’ve never had before because i’m the oldest of six and i have to be example, the ring leader, at times. it’s really soothing talking to you on skype and really fun talking about our muses together, especially when we freak out over cool shit we make our judais do. uvu much love paint!! never change!! ♥

what is my;

overall opinion: i feel like i’ve rambled enough lmao but!! paint, i honestly just want you to know how awesome i think you are. we may not talk too much on skype, but i’m not even lying when i say that i do think about you at least once in my day and that’s really something, especially for me.  it’s great having you as a friend that i can go to on skype whenever, i can be myself without feeling like i can’t because you just emanate that down to earth aura and i love it because i need more in my life. keep on keepin’ paint! stay fabulous! c: ♥
