we only see the everybody once a year bc only half of us can come home for thanksgiving and christmas
as for chris, nick, mike, and aaron (who shall henceforth be known as the losers bc that's exactly what they are) we're pretty close with them, but i personally am only really good friends with chris and nick but aaron and i have this weird relationship and i don't even know where to begin with that.

they're something alright
and they're even worse when chris, nick, mike, and aaron are around. like for crying out loud they refered to mike as "magic mike" for a solid month and they use chris as a scapegoat for everything and he's okay with bc it means he gets to make up ridiculous stories for excuses and nicky and laura always hide food somewhere in the cabin like one year nicky snuck a mini fridge into his room so they could hide the banana pudding from everyone else (except me bc nicky needed someone to keep watch when he brought it in) and aaron always manages to get all my guy cousins to do dumb crap like jump into the tn river from off a bridge bc he's a reckless idiot and they refuse to be outdone by someone who isn't even family.
One time my brother tried to demonstrate to my mom what "fangirling" looked like, but he got too into it and he accidentally smashed a cup in my face

okay so my weird family story (for background my family is massive, like my mom is number six out of eleven kids). so every year during family reunion there is a night that everyone 21 and up plays card games drunk and every year i get stuck making sure that my younger cousins don't do anything stupid. anyways, so i was watching the kids with when one of them (ethan) made a run for the stairs. i chase after him and we run into the middle of the card game and there's the rest of my family playing poker and wearing tin foil hats. but when i say hats i mean like actual hats not caps like my cousin william had crafted a stinson and katie had made a bowler hat. anyways they all look up from their poker game and stare at me and ethan for a solid minute before laura whispers "don't trust any of them because they're mind readers."
