8. Should all people be treated as equal, and have the same rights?
Difficult Questions for Muses
@captain-rummidew
āAh, the argument of equality. My short answer would be yes, but my ambiguous answer would be if only it was so.
The world thrives both balance and imbalance. Take Ishgard for example, a stratified society separated into two classes. Iām not saying that it should stay the same,Ā yetĀ the commonfolk would often rebel against their betters when they have enough. Yet if theĀ commoners were to beĀ given the same prestigious treatment as nobility, think of how the nobles will react?
Of course they would be appalled seeing the supposed commoners walking on the same groundĀ as them. And if they were brought to the same level as commoners it is the exact same thing. In the end no matter how much equality you would think there is, there is always going to be someone, or a certain party that will be unhappy.
For mankind, enoughĀ is neverĀ enough.ā
