This plan should go off without a hitch, Snart is sure of that. He has gathered a small crew – just as he likes it best. Apart from Lisa and Mick, there’s Kyle Nimbus, whose newly acquired powers as a living gas bomb should come in handy, and tech-genius Hartley Rathaway. He has intentionally abstained from recruiting any more of these so-called metahumans than absolutely necessary – it’s too much of a gamble to trust them to actually have a hold of their powers, so he’d rather rely on seasoned people.
Which, admittedly, Hartley is not, but he seems capable enough. Snart has put him to the test when the young man had tracked him down, outright demanding that he put him on a job. There was something about his audacity that intrigued Snart – he recognized that fire, that spite behind Hartley‘s eyes. Knew that urge to prove himself. And, of course, he knew just exactly what had caused it. The news around his parents disowning him only escaped a few.
And Hartley has proven himself. Not that Snart has let him go in on any big jobs yet, but he was quick to come up with solutions, not afraid to speak his mind and all in all dutiful about doing what he’s told.
Which is why it is both a surprise and expected when he interrupts Snart as he explains their newest heist.
“Absolutely not”, Hartley cuts in, his voice sharp as if to not allow any pushback.

They might reveal hartley as his husband because hes criminal and I dont think Singh would do that. But maybe the reason hartley rathaway is so pissed at Barry is beacuse he broke them up somehow.
