May 2019 ... In Marfa ... it is space between the clouds that always hold my attention. There is infinite potential that exists in the void between the visible or tangible. By focusing there, between the clouds, I find the clarity to conjure spontaneous and unexpected ideas. Out here you can drive for hours and often never see another vehicle. I find that thrilling. When you drive east to west, or vice versa, you ride parallel to an imaginary line, or rather a river between two radically different cultures: Texas and Chihuahua, Mexico.
