Pietro knows very well that Wanda can take care of herself.  She had always been able to take care of herself.  So he knew he probably shouldn’t go diving to save her, but he couldn’t not protect her.  So he acted rather then just think about it.  He moved Wanda out of the way and took the blow that was meant for her.  “I’m always going to protect you Wanda.”  He said.  “Always.”  A slightly shaky breath in from him.

So when Natasha found herself pinned against the wall of the training room, grunting from the sudden impact, she couldn’t help but smirk. “Not bad,” she smirked. 

  “ er--okay well, see...we’re kinda in a tough situation now.” his hand went to the back of his neck, jaw slacking off to the side as he tread carefully. “ I mean--I feel like you might have missed a few steps. if I say no, am I gonna find myself hurled out a window?”
