It's not simply that they have no principles and continue to wilfully make the wrong choice, every time. It's that they then ACTIVELY rave over the worst of the worst as long as they still get their pathetic little endorphin fix. As long as they can keep lying to themselves about every tiny aspect of their worthless, superficial lives.

The bright colours, the money, the illusions, the toys, the worship of their tawdry gods, the choice not to think, not to empathise, to not look past the the next toy, the next game, the next thrill, the next minute.

i do. he was the first (and second) president i voted for. and as the years get further and further from his presidency, the more angry and disappointed i get specifically this year the topic of how obama changed the definition of an insurgent so the drones they were sending into pakistan wouldn't get flagged as killing so many kids. that's pretty fucked up

i was never happy (even back then) voting for a president who didn't believe in marriage equality for lgbtq+ americans

i haven't read up enough on obama the way i have clinton and his policies yet to make a list like i did clinton, but that is the goal

you can be the best president in the history of the united states but that still makes you the best president of an imperialist nation so ... gotta take that for what it's worth. it was around the time of obama's first election that i started wondering why no one asks the president if he gets therapy to do with the fact that if he becomes president he will have to be a murderer
