cape scott provincial park -
headed to the northern most part of vancouver island a couple weeks ago to hike this well-known and popular trail. it was super beautiful and for once in our lives we got a few days of good weather (before the inevitable rain poured down on us, the mosquitoes swarmed like nobody’s business, and we shredded our feet accidentally hiking 23km when we thought we were only going for 12km hah).
all in all, we hiked about 60km, saw two bears, some breaching whales, some jumping fish, a few sets of fresh wolf tracks, and an otter or two. the burger stop on the drive home was also pretty on point. ✌️
