going off of last reblog, a headcanon i rlly like from this fic is the idea that doctor has been raised so devoid of basic affection that is not in the form of verbal praise or rewards (via awards or flowers) that even the most inoffensive forms of affection would make them feel like a disgusting pervert. they hold hands with rebecca and feel like the most dirty and gross and evil person alive bc how Dare they seek affection from anyone who isn’t their mother. disgraceful. they should be killed for this
