CANZUK (Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom) are nations where the cultures of all four countries are extremely similar and they share the same language. All four are liberal democracies based on parliamentary systems including a constitutional monarchy. All four are multi-cultural and multi-ethnic with a rich fabric of peoples. Within a CANZUK agreement, each country would keep their de facto sovereignty and have the independence to draft its own laws. Each would negotiate their own trade agreements with other nations. Current alliances such as NATO would remain as is. Features of CANZUK: Free movement of workers, and students Access to national healthcare via reciprocal agreements Recognition & transferability to all universities/colleges Recognition of all trade certifications Job swapping to gain further skills Joint military training and procurement including manufacturing of military hardware Joint business ventures and financial partnerships Joint research and development in medicine and sciences

I wanted to keep it simple: * The flag has the same ratio and shades of red/blue as the Union Jack to recall CANZUK's origins. * The colours of Canada, Australia and New Zealand are placed in way that recalls their geographical positions. * Crown to represent the Queen/British Royal Family. * Since this "union" would be one that stretches around the globe, I chose diagonal striping because it has a "broader" feeling than vertical/horizontal striping. * I wanted to avoid simply mashing together all the nations' respective symbols like we see so often and create a new design instead.

The blue, red and white of the top left symbolizes the UK and the four home nations, tilted at \~23,5º representing both the Earth's tilt (globe spanning presence) and the apparent "tilt" of Great Britain. The top right is of course representing Canada with blue and black recalling the diverse, non-Anglo communities in the Canadian state: French, Indigenous, Afro-descendants, et al. The bottom right is the Australian commonwealth, with the blue, yellow and green connecting to the common Aussie colours. Then, the bottom right is Aotearoa New Zealand, with its colour scheme of black, white, green, and red
