Orange Street News was reporting last night that Linda Tripp is surrounded by family and near death, and while many people might immediately react with snark or jokes as they recall her fifteen minutes of fame during the Clinton Impeachment, I was reminded of the podcast “Slow Burn” in which Leon Neyfakh was able to interview Tripp. The podcast itself was incredible (both seasons; S1 was on Watergate) but the conversation he had with Tripp was illuminating. You won’t walk away agreeing with what she did, but you understand her better, and understand her as a person rather than the headline caricature she exists as in pop culture. The same can be said for Monica Lewindky and many of the other individuals who populate this chapter of history. Check out “Slow Burn”, you’ll definitely walk away with a better understanding of how things played out behind the sensationalism we all remember. 🎙 #gasstationburrito #gsbpodcasts #podcast #podcasting #cantreadallthetime #podysseyapp #echoed @podysseyapp #slowburn #slowburnpodcast #leonneyfakh #lindatripp #monicalewinsky #billclinton #clintonimpeachment #orangestreetnews https://www.instagram.com/p/B-uxRqXB2A6/?igshid=ty63qy5fzjua
