One of the great delights of living in an old home is the established trees that accompany it. This shot from the south side of our 1889 home is of one of my favorite spots in the summer. This lush canopy of leaves and branches creates a beautifully dappled shady glade below (where I’m standing as I take this photo). The birds and squirrels who fill this overhead layer of our garden chirp and scamper all day long, but especially in the mornings while I’m out here (this space is just off of our patio) having my first cup of coffee each day. 12:3:2017 ~ #NYGPicADay ~ #Street - not exactly a street but I do love walking along this road on my way to class...just look at the beautiful trees! This road leads out to the beach... palm trees are dotted along the road as you get closer to it. I did take a shot of the palm trees but I liked the feeling of this shot better.
