Made it to California before Saturday okay so 25 minutes before Saturday but we still win. Now to get to Monterey before the morning. The haze in the picture is the smoke believe it or not. Our first day of driving was what I call a cannon ball run, with a large distance driven through the night while others sleep (it makes for few toilet and sightseeing stops). We did this first leg and got to Port Germein, SA in the early afternoon and setup camp for the night.. due to our exhaustion we buckled and had fish and chips and a hot shower before calling it a night.

Canonball Run II was made in 1984 it was as good as made in the original 70’s. Can’t imagine something like this to be made again. What is intriguing is that some of the scenes still depict present day realities. #canonballrun #movie #trump #satire (at Washington, District of Columbia)
