Everything seemed out of place ; all those noble ones happily chit chatting as if everything was fine. Lady Margaery was dazzling ; as a handmaiden, Mira was supposed to match her happiness and smile, but she found it too difficult right now. Nothing was fine. 

Smiling was not going to bring her father and brother back. It might get the Whitehills out of Ironrath, and the ironwood trade back to the Forresters, if she was clever enough, but not here. Not now. 

The more she thought about them behind her empty smiles, the more she felt she was about to burst into tears. 

The girl quickly excused herself to Margaery, (Sera will manage better than me, My Lady, I’m really not feeling well right now, I apologize) before going for a stroll in the gardens. The tears started to well up in her eyes, but of course she could not let them fall.

There was a place in the gardens that was remotely far from the rest and that almost felt quiet on a good day. Mira walked there as fast as she could (running was not lady-like) and once she was facing the sea, she let the tears fall freely.

It lasted a few seconds before she realized that she was not alone. The girl had not checked beforehand, for it was so hard to stop herself from crying, but --- startled, she quickly wiped her tears and tried to gain some kind of composure back.

Now was not the time to forget her courtesies, especially when the tensions between Tyrells and Martells were running high as ever.

“P-Prince Doran.” she blurted out before curtsying and painting another fake smile on her face. “I-I apologize. I really am sorry, I will go if -- if you need it, of course you do, I--- Good day to you.”
