Luca: Well, it’s happened again. 

McCabe: What’s happened again? *still reading his paper* 

Luca: Dominic is the FIRST one in. 

McCabe: *wholly offended and has been there for a while now* You’re the first one in? What do I look like? An extra coat wrack? 

Luca: Nah, you don’t count TJ. You’re bucking for a promotion. Me, I’m content with my position. You know what I mean?

McCabe: Nope.

Luca: I mean I’m happy to be the sexiest member of the team

McCabe: *laughing* 

Luca: I don’t want the added responsibility or authority of increased rank. Just being lovable and popular is enough for me. I’m not bucking for anything. So why do we have to be here at the crack of dawn?

McCabe: *sarcastically* Because you LOVE your job. (is immune to most of Luca’s dramatics)

Luca: What would it hurt if we didn’t have to report in until -- say-- 9 o’clock? I mean, why do we have to be penalized for it? We’re the good guys?! No body commits a crime this early even the bad guys are in bed now.
