I’m finally drawing my AU where Alastor kills Vincent after completely panicking when he realizes just how important Vincent has become to him. Then he eats him, because, of course, as if he’d allow any part of Vincent to be away from him.
Afterward, Alastor hallucinates Vincent’s ghost. He’ll even yell Vincent’s name, demanding that he come out at once and stop being childish, if he feels like the ghost isn’t following him. For the most part, he can appear perfectly normal around other people, but “Ghost Vincent” always has to stay close to him.
When “”Vincent “” is not near, He yells frantically and tries to find him, even when people look at him strangely. In his mind, Vincent is fine and is just throwing a tantrum because he’s angry with him for one reason or another. But he can’t stop the dread he feels when “Vincent” is gone.
“The ghost” is always quiet, since Alastor can’t recreate Vincent’s voice as accurately as he wants to. As a result, he grows frantic whenever even the smallest detail isn’t exactly as it was in reality. The differences between the ghost and Vincent are always too much for him to bear, because he doesn’t want to acknowledge the truth.
He always looks into Vincent’s green eye, since the other side of his face was the first part Alastor ate, and he sometimes sees his corpse when he looks at him completely.
