Had to break Hannibal Lector’s heart a bit when I had to tell him the Cannibal Coffee & Donuts were taken already and quite frankly, so were a number of others 😞 Mr. Lector was a polite sport about the whole mess and remains patient and persistent however -what a gentleman! So tmw I’ll be heading back to the dark corners of some freezers at the storage facility for some remaining dishes, hopefully he can be appeased! I painted this series almost 15 years ago, the majority did not sell well that year, and for awhile there I figure I’d just keep them forever but it’s been a ride watching them slowly take off over the long course of time. A surprising treat every time I come across a creepy new collector! Looking back now I find it hard to believe so many of them are gone already.
