I do think I'll stick to regular classes - mostly because I'm not familiar enough with fan or combo classes and I'd rather write for something I'm more confident than doing something badly. Sorry about that...

Pajama Doodle - Day 16: Terezi in her Seer of Mind pajama

Terezi’s pajama is amazing and we indeed don’t see her in this enough! The greens and reds make for a good contrast in her looks, that’s for sure. Here’s our favorite Seer of Mind with her Dragon Cane (I can’t get enough of drawing that cane, I have no idea why)

Are these rectangular canes, or really long controllers? Will still function if plugged into a SNES - though certainly a Rogue might be more keen on using them to control and shift their Aspect's position to wherever they need it to be.

For the cane, you’d need two pieces of identical pipe in the lengths that you want the separate cane parts and an approximately six-inch dowel the width of the bore (so that it can fit snugly inside a pipe but still be pulled out with a good twist). Glue the dowel inside one pipe with half of it outside of the pipe. The other piece of pipe should fit over the extended dowel but still be detachable. 

For more secure and authentic sword canes, here is a method with a spring catch and a thread where someone considers using rare earth magnets instead of a mechanical catch. Alternately, you could try modelling a catch after a trombone slide lock (if you could find scrap trombone parts cheaply).
