🍃🏹➳ Whew, that was a close one! The huntress had successfully swooped down and captured the charging tarantula from running onto the docks. Cyrene did pride herself to be an expert bug-catcher after all; nothing escaped her sharp, green gaze.
Nothing, that is, except for the OTHER tarantula that, feeling the vibrations of the net hitting the ground on its brethren, decided to attack the mighty hunter. The poor deer hardly had time to stow her prize away in her pocket before the other arachnid lodged its fangs into her ankle. She only barely had time to look down to see what bit her before collapsing.
Just to add insult to injury, a third one popped out and bit her ear. Looks like we’ve got a code red, Wilbur.
