Is it weird to be passionate about whether people depict Candy!Jane accurately? I just have to go on and on about everything wrong and why any time she's depicted as just cartoonishly evil with no nuance...like people forget that she started out wanting to do good and is trying to justify herself because she knows she's gone down a bad path but doesn't want to accept it... she'd absolutely be upset if she had to see some of the shit she's doing up close, and then look away and say it has to be done for x y z and murder-of-her-dad reasons...right?
I don't think it's weird to be passionate about not wanting characters to become flanderized by the Fandom, no. Nuance is good and important.
