Faceblindness is such BS why does there have to be an actual brain malfunction that is so similar to a common racist claim that you have to explain why it has nothing to do with race if it ever comes up in front of someone who isn't white

It's not even in the way people go "oh my autism makes me do X Y and Z" it's that not being able to tell black people apart is a symptom. As is not being able to tell white people apart. Zero exceptions including secret ones to your inability to tell people apart is kinda part of the criteria

So I may have attempted to save myself from sounding like I was saying all black people look alike by saying "I'm looking for a white person" without clarifying I was attempting to find a specific person. Nor that I had mistaken the sole white person in the group of 4 for her
