I do think that which knight attacks don't avoid Kris are very interesting. It's odd that the Knight would avoid hitting Kris under most circumstances but not bother for two specific attack types. Maybe it's not from the Knight's intent, but rather Kris's ability
I'm interpreting the flavor text as being a description of real past events and a lot of it seems to involve Kris fleeing. The ones that don't avoid them are described in terms of immense fear and concussion symptoms. As though Kris is hit by the attacks they were unable to escape from.
The question is, does Kris really avoid being swooned because the Knight doesn't want to hurt them, or because they've learned how not to be swooned after horrible past experiences? Or both?
